We love entrepreneurs and the spirit of entrepreneurship. I met Daniel and Morgane while doing headshots of their executive team during an executive retreat in Cancun, Mexico in May. They are a team of creatives that run the marketing department of a large company in the automotive sector. When they told me that they were going to branch out on their own and start their own design/marketing firm, I was more than excited for them because I know what it feels to be in that spot.

Before starting my own studio in 2015, I worked in IT/Corporate Finance in the mining sector for over 15 years, and although it was a hard decision to leave that security of a paycheck, looking back I wish I had done it sooner. Life is too short to have regrets and if you are in a position to make a change that will ultimately allow you to have a different lifestyle or give you more time with your family, then you owe it to yourself to at least study the possibility and ultimately make the move to make it happen.

Daniel and Morgane wanted me to create the not-so-stuffy, yet still clean and polished corporate headshots for their branding needs, and this was music to my ears as I love creating images that capture genuine personality and connection.

Modern headshots don’t need to be literally head and shoulder shots, they can be full body or quarter crop images that give you more flexibility in how they can be used, especially in today’s ever-evolving social media scene.

It was an absolute pleasure working with them to create imagery for their new website and marketing material and I know they will be back at the studio for another shoot soon.
